Privacy Policy

Effective 1 November 2026

This policy explains what Precision PCB Design and Consulting ("we") collects when you use this website, start aPanel Toolkit trial or subscription, or run Panel Toolkit, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell personal information.

This website

The site is static. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider, Render, keeps standard server logs (your IP address, the pages requested and the time) for security and operation.

Starting a trial or subscription

Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address and card details, and, if you choose to give them, a business name and tax ID. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares your name, email address and the subscription's status with us so we can issue and manage your licence. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Running Panel Toolkit

When you activate, and each time the program starts, it sends your licence key and a hashed fingerprint of your computer's hardware identifiers to our licence server at licence.precisionpcbdesign.com, and receives your licence status back. The raw identifiers never leave your computer. Your design data, imported files, panels and exports never leave your computer either: Panel Toolkit does not upload them, and it writes imported data to disk only when you save a file.

Email

We send your licence key and licence-status messages from noreply@mail.precisionpcbdesign.com. Stripe sends receipts, trial-ending reminders, renewal notices and failed-payment notices on our behalf.

Who processes data for us

Stripe (payments, billing and billing emails), Render (website and licence server hosting, United States), Zoho (business email and the ZeptoMail service that sends licence emails) and Cloudflare (domain name service and software downloads). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

Your licence record for as long as your trial or subscription is active, plus the period tax and accounting rules require us to keep transaction records. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period and then deleted.

Your choices

Email support@precisionpcbdesign.com to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Deleting it ends your licence.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy here with a new effective date.
